Same Day Tyre Fitting: What to Expect

One of the most common questions we get is simply how same-day fitting actually works in practice, since a lot of people are used to booking a service days in advance and setting aside half a morning for it.
In most cases, it starts with a quick check of what is already on the vehicle: the current size, load rating, and speed rating, plus a look at wear patterns which can flag alignment or suspension issues worth mentioning even if that is not what you came in for. From there we can usually confirm stock and give you a price on the spot, since we carry a broad range of sizes and brands rather than relying on next-day freight for common fitments.
The fitting itself, once the tyres are confirmed, typically takes well under an hour for a standard passenger car set of four, including the old tyres coming off, new ones balanced and fitted, and a final pressure check. Trucks, commercial vehicles, and larger 4WD tyres can take a bit longer given the extra work involved in handling and balancing bigger, heavier wheels.
No appointment is needed for most standard fitments, which is the point of same-day service: if you notice a problem in the morning, whether that is a slow leak, a bulge, or just tread that has finally worn down, you can usually be back on the road the same day rather than juggling your week around a booking. For anything unusual, like a less common size or a specific brand request that we do not have on the shelf, it is worth a quick call first so we can check stock before you drive out, but for the vast majority of vehicles that come through our door, same-day really does mean the same day.
